Kill Your Cravings in 2 Simple Steps

The APPLE framework also applies not only to emotional eating, but even cravings! (of course, amongst many other things)



It's so important, I want you to focus on 2 simple steps right now, if everything feels so overwhelming:


Step #1: BE AWARE of your cravings,

so you can 1) notice patterns and 2) feel more in control of them. (so cliché... I know... but it's important)


Step #2: BE PREPARED.

If you know that you start craving certain food every time you get home from a long day at work or taking care of your kids, BE PREPARED.

If you know that visions of cookie dough and M&M's start dancing in your head after the kid go to bed, BE PREPARED.

If you always need wine and cheese with binging on your favorite Netflix show, BE PREPARED.


What “being prepared” looks like will depend on you and your situation.



But it can include these two simple tactics:

  • Find a diversion. Instead of just watching TV at night, consider something else to focus your attention on!

  • Have another option on-hand: Whatever you choose, make sure it's prepped.



And also for you to start noticing changes in your energy, your sleep, and your results!



It’s all about being intentional about what you put into your body … and not letting the “automatic” habits take over and derail you from your goals!


It's actually easier than you think!
